Life changing news for George

Today George and his people learned that he needs to get his right front leg amputated.  George’s leg and paw were injured at birth and have never grown correctly.

So technically, George is still a quad but this will change in 4 days.  George’s people are very sad but also happy that soon George will be in no pain.  Our vet is wonderful and we know that George will soon be running and playing with his family like any normal 5 month old Border collie.George

This is a photo of George at 2 months.

Wish George luck in his life!!

  1. I actually think George will feel better without that injured leg & since he is so young he will probably adjust very quickly .. Will keep George in my prayers for a quick recovery from his surgery ❤️🐾

  2. George is so darn cute. I’m sure he’ll do very well with the amputation. Be sure to take care of yourself during the recovery.

  4. Awww George is gorgeous! I have a Leo monster who lost his leg at 3 days old and is now 5 months old and without a care in the world! Of course border collies never notice they are different but hey it’s all good!
